Happy Square Root Day! Yes, thats right, today is Square Root Day, a very special day that is only celebrated nine times every century. We are celebrating it today because of the date, March 3, 2009 or 3/3/09 (for those of you that dont know, the square root of 9 is 3). The last time Square Root Day came around was on Feb. 2, 2004 or 2/2/04. So party hard today mathletes, because the next Square Root Day wont be until April 4, 2016 (4/4/16).
