What's A G?

Here is an official picture of HTC's G2, otherwise known as the new version of T-Mobile's G1 (the Google phone). Does anyone even have the G1? I've only ever seen one person have it and shes a 12 year old girl. Im not hating, because I actually liked what I saw in the phone, Im just pointing out that it seems (to me anyways) that the phone isn't that popular. Either way check for this newer version soon.
