Microsoft has announced that they will be opening retail stores just like their main competitor Apple. Is this really necessary? Apple has stores because they sell their own products like the MacBook, iPod, iPhone, etc. Microsoft is primarily a software based company and you can buy machines that use Microsoft software anywhere. I just dont see the point in having a Microsoft store, but maybe Ill get it when I step inside one. Thoughts?
