I think that it is pretty lame that Proposition 8 passed in California and has now banned gay marriage in the state. Our country just elected its first ever minority President yet we still wont let people of the same sex who love each other marry one another. It took a disgustingly long enough time (and sadly a piss poor President in George Bush) to finally elect a person of color into the the Presidency and I dont understand why people can finally look past their hang ups on race but not do the same for people who love another person of the same sex. Equality for ALL people, not just some.
I love this country and I am so thankful and proud to call myself an American and I feel that the freedom that is given to us by being a citizen here shouldnt have an extent to it. If you disagree with anything that I have said feel free to comment away, because it is your right as an American and you're ability to say what you want is what makes this country so great.
