Your Check Is In The Mail...Maybe

I read an article  today about how many people are still waiting for their government issued stimulus checks. The article used the word millions when describing how many people were actually still waiting, but some lucky people are actually receiving multiple checks. Those wacky folks at the IRS said that about 1,500 checks were mailed to the wrong people and that is not including the people who received more than one.

A total of 66.6 million payments have been sent out totaling...get ready for it...about $56 billion!! I thought we were in debt?? Either way the feds say that by the end of it all 130 million checks will be sent out to most of us working stiffs. 

If you get two checks dont cash the second one though, because the government can and will keep track of their mistakes and hunt you down. If you havent gotten yours yet, well that sucks for you, but some helpful advice from the government is to just be patient. Good luck with that! 

Yes, I received mine a while ago.... I dont know if I really stimulated the economy though because Im pretty sure I bought something that was made in China.
