The Electronic Book Burner

Princeton has joined a small but growing list of universities, including Yale, Oxford, and Berkeley who are giving the option to its students to ditch their textbooks for Kindle versions. If you dont know what the Kindle is, it is a device produced by Amazon (yes the online retailer) that allows you to store and read text, usually in the form of novels and some newspapers. Files are downloaded wirelessly and saved in its hard drive allowing you to look at them whenever you want without any need of a computer. Personally I think it is an awesome idea, not only is it better for the environment and way cooler then carrying around a huge book, but hopefully it wont cost as much as textbooks cost now. The Kindle is usually on backorder due to its huge popularity, but you can find more information about it on Amazon.com.
