Ok, today as I posted earlier, Apple announced their new line up of MacBooks at a press conference in California. Unfortunately the rumor if the $800 Mac ended up being just that, so that kind of blows. The new lineup however is pretty sweet, with the new MacBook and MacBook Pros getting a new design, better processor and graphics card, and all new glass trackpad that allows multi-touch gestures and eliminates "click buttons" by making the whole pad the button. The new versions can be had for a starting price of $1299.99 however the existing white plastic MacBook that yours truly uses has been dropped to $999.
