It's So Hard To Say Goodbye

A 60 year old man in Japan is in trouble with Japanese authorities after they found a body that he disposed of in the woods. The body was found wrapped in a sleeping bag in a shallow grave by a passing hiker.

This is when it gets good.

When the authorities unearthed the body they were shocked to find that while it was a body, it was not of a human but a plastic love doll. When word broke out that the doll was found the owner came forward to confess to the crime (yes he is still in trouble for violating Japan's Waste Management Law). The widowed man had lived with the doll for a few years after his wife passed, but when he decided to move in with his children he couldn't bring himself to throw his "companion" out, so he buried "her" in the woods.

This may quite possibly be the greatest love story ever and I hear Ryan Gossling and Rachel McAdams are in talks to star in the movie. Think Lars and the Real Girl meets The Notebook. (Kidding...but you never know)
